Below is the text of CPS's In-Home Disclaimer, which must be accepted before filing an In-Home Claim:

By filing this claim, you are acknowledging that you understand that Consumer Priority Service will, in good faith and at its expense, dispatch a local qualified technician to your location to provide an expert diagnostic and estimate of repair. You further acknowledge that the problem with your product is an issue which would be covered under the product's written warranty (please review your owner’s manual for full details) and is not related to

  • Replacement of a consumable (i.e. light bulbs, ink toners, batteries, etc.)
  • A maintenance issue (i.e. rubber gasket replacement, filter replacement, cleaning exhaust ducts, general product upkeep etc.)
  • A user induced damage (i.e. shock/impact damage resulting from outside force, broken shelves, drawers, trays, wheels, bearings, etc.)

If the service call is determined to be “unwarranted” or “erroneous” by the on-site service technician, you acknowledge that you may be held responsible to pay service charges of up to $150.00 to cover the service call, logistic, and administrative fees.
